IECI, unlike other manufacturers of mould temperature control systems, has introduced a forced pressurisation system for the water circuit since the 1980s.
Thanks to the use of a special pressurisation pump, IECI temperature controllers are able to work with preset pressure steps right from the initial start-up phases of the control unit. These pressure steps allow the heat transfer fluid to be in a liquid state at all times, avoiding even the slightest vaporisation due to the thermal shocks that occur on the surface of the mould following the first injection of aluminium during the first production cycles.
IECI temperature controllers have different pressurisation levels depending on whether the maximum working temperature of the water machine is 160°C (320°F), 180°C (356°F) or 200°C (392°F).
